This optional optical drive for Zappiti NAS RIP is the easiest way to back-up your Blu-ray 4K UHD movies.


With high-performance video decoding software and specific driver, this optional disc transport for Zappiti NAS RIP is the easiest way to save your Blu-ray 4K UHD discs. The Zappiti Drive 4K HDR allows decoding and copying your movies in Blu-ray 4K UHD format.

Once the disc is inserted into the tray of the Zappiti Drive 4K HDR connected to your Zappiti NAS RIP Audio Video Edition, your Blu-ray 4K UHD movie will be automatically saved and be available to all your Zappiti media players in multiple rooms of your home. With the Zappiti Drive 4K HDR, the Zappiti NAS RIP Audio Video becomes the world first UHD back-up solution. With its rich Zappiti media centre application, the Zappiti NAS RIP delivers an optimal value for Zappiti users to build up an ideal audio/video library storage and feature-rich entertainment hub. The Zappiti NAS RIP Audio Video Edition was designed from the ground up to store music and movies reliably on a modern array of hard disk drives without compression or loss of quality. Designed and assembled in France (Europe), the Zappiti NAS RIP is highly scalable and able to continue operating even after a drive failure, without losing any content.

The Zappiti Drive 4K HDR is compatible with the following discs:
- 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray (Movies)
- 3D Blu-ray (Movies)
- 2D Blu-ray (Movies)
- DVD (Movies)
- CD (Music)

If you own a Zappiti NAS RIP 4K HDR, you do not need a Zappiti Drive 4K HDR to rip UHD discs as there is already a built-it UHD 4K drive. But you can connect a Zappiti Drive 4K HDR to rip 2 UHD discs at the same time.

If you own a Zappiti NAS RIP Audio Video Edition, the Zappiti NAS Drive can be useful to rip UHD discs because the internal drive is not compatible with UHD discs.

    Zappiti Transfer is an old software dedicated only to the first generation Zappiti Player 4K. You do not need it for the Zappiti NAS RIP 4K HDR transfers or the Zappiti 4K Pro 4K.

    Yes, you can use an SSD with the players or NAS RIP 4K, but you will need a 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch SATA HDD SSD Adapter that Supports SATA 3.0.

    MENU button / VIDEO TAB / Chained Video Playback = ON.

    Then, LOOP option = ON.

    Can I build a multi-room system with 12X Zappiti Players in different rooms with a NAS RIP 4K as the server? ...

    The limit of simultaneous playback is 6 at the same time for one server. If you want 12 zones at the same time, it would be better to add an additional server for improved performance. The second server can be a Synology with a replication of the Zappiti NAS.
